CBSE successfully conducted its 2025 exam across 7,842 centers in India and abroad, offering 84 subjects for class 10 and 120 subjects for class 12. The board has officially confirmed that all digital mark sheets and certificates will be legally valid for academic and employment purposes.
Central Board of Secondary Education has officially declared CBSE class 10th, 12th result 2025 today, on its authorized portals, cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, and results.cbse.nic.in with an overall pass percentage of 93.6 % for class 10 and 88.39% for class 12. Alongside the results, the board has continued its revised policy of not releasing an official toppers list for both class 10 and 12 examinations.
Students can access their CBSE Class 10, 12 result 2025 by entering their roll number, admit card ID, and school code as mentioned on their admit cards.
CBSE Class 10 results 2025 witnessed 2,371,939 candidates appearing for the exams, with 2,221,636 successful passes, achieving an overall pass percentage of 93.66%, marking a 0.06% improvement over last year's performance. Notably, approximately 1.99 lakh students scored above 90%, while over 45,000 candidates secured exceptional marks exceeding 95%.
Thiruvananthapuram has once again maintained its position as the best performing district in CBSE class 10 exam. This year, Trivandrum and Vijayawada districts have secured the highest pass percentage of 99.79%.

CBSE Class 12 exam result 2025 reveal exceptional academic performance, with 1,11,544 students scoring above 90% and 24,867 achieving 95% and above. Meanwhile, a total of 129,000 students have been placed in the compartment category and will need to appear for supplementary exams.
This year, female candidates of CBSE class 12 outperformed male candidates with a pass percentage of 91.64%, compared to 85.70% for male candidates. In a significant improvement, transgender candidates achieved a 100% pass rate this year, marking a substantial improvement from the previous year's 50% success rate.
